Huawei has just launched the #StartMeApp awards, which aim to promote the apps equipped with Artificial Intelligence and thus exploit to the maximum its Kirin 970 chip.
It is expected that by 2025 the Artificial Intelligence will have an economic impact of 36,800 million dollars, while the market of the apps will suppose more than 46,000 million in 2020.
With such a powerful panorama, it is not surprising that Huawei wanted to unite two of the sectors that will move the most money in the coming years in #StartMeApp, a project focused on the development of applications for Android that can offer an innovative and disruptive solution to the problems of today.
This initiative, developed in collaboration with El País Retina, will make it possible to squeeze as much as possible the Huawei Mate 10 and the Kirin 970 chip. And it has a neuronal processing unit that aspires to function as a human brain.
But how will the winners of the #StartMeApp awards be selected? Instead of being categorized by a specific theme, the apps that are submitted should stand out for their high contributory value, in which artificial intelligence plays a decisive role.
Once presented, they will be evaluated by a voting system, and then analyzed in detail by a committee of experts in technology and innovation, composed of specialists from the organizing companies.
In addition, based on the innovation of the projects, the differential contribution, the global vision and market opportunity, the quality and usefulness of the apps will be evaluated, to be able to consider if it is really about disruptive projects that can be implemented to improve the quality of life of people.
In recognition, the best mobile application of the first edition of #StartMeApp awards will be rewarded with 3,000 euros, a Huawei Mate 10 and free registration to the Developer Program of Huawei Developers Alliance, which already has more than 240,000 registered.
For their part, the second and third place will also receive the Mate 10 and the registration to the company's development platform. In addition, the three proposals that reach this last phase will appear in the Huawei AppStore for two weeks in Spain and Europe.
