In what may be the largest recruitment portal in the golfing industry, The Golf Business has launched and features hundreds of jobs from club managers and secretaries to PGA professionals and greenkeepers.
The venture has partnered with England's primary course management magazine, GreenKeeping, and the portal itself will list openings from clubs, associations, and other golf recruitment agencies using the latest technology. These algorithms will also ensure that the jobs are visible to as wide and diverse an audience as possible through cunning integration with third party services, like Google for Jobs.
Additionally, each position will be widely marketed across the social media accounts for The Golf Business - which currently sits at over 9,000 Twitter followers and over 1,200 on LinkedIn.
“We’ve been listening to feedback from golf clubs for several months, who have been saying one thing the industry is missing is a one-stop-shop for golf jobs,” said Lewis O’Sullivan, The Golf Business’ recruitment manager.
“The launch of this portal means this issue is finally resolved. The range of jobs currently on jobs.thegolfbusiness.co.uk is staggering – from the executive manager at Clevedon Golf Club to assistant greenkeeper at Farnham Golf Club; from a catering franchise at Enfield Golf Club to golf coaches at Richmond Park Golf Course. Other positions currently include accounts administrators, chefs, bar tenders and starters at several golf clubs and even vacancies related to the golf industry, such as a sales role at a golf irrigation company or an account manager for financial services firm that serves the industry.
“Employers and potential applicants can select from featured jobs in a number of categories including club manager, PGA professional, greenkeeper and hospitality.
“Job seekers can sign up for email notifications about new jobs that meet their requirements.”
