Slack, the popular messaging platform for work teams, has recently upgraded in userbase value through newfound access to a "pre-screened freelance talent" network.
Since the messenger's launch in 2013, it has revolutionized office communication. And while it is most often known for this utility, a separate team has incepted a new plugin entitled Gratify that will aid firms in their quest to gain employment outside of their standard workplace when it comes to freelance recruitment.
A huge point of contention and struggle when it comes to freelance hiring, naturally, is that upper management and hiring talent often feels like searching in the dark. Gratify, however, amends this issue through its vetting system for professional freelancers. Through this channel, the employer and freelancer can discuss work through Slack and the project can be assigned and come to fruition without the trouble of searching, negotiations, and stress. Time and money is saved for both parties.
