Disprz, the corporate training startup, has recently raised $2.5 million (Rs 16.5 crore) from IL&FS Private Equity and prior investor Kae Capital.
The startup, based in Chennai, and which runs a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that aids companies in delivering educational and training content, and will be putting the proceeds towards data science capabilities and for global expansion.
Co-founder and CEO of Disprz, Subramanian Viswanathan, commented, “Companies which have a lot of knowledge workers in their payroll say, tech companies and R&D, need to be constantly upgraded. We (also) do it with frontline workers who face customers. We train them through the app. They get trained, on boarded, communicated and engaged on our platform.”
