The workforce management solutions firm, Kronos Incorporated, has recently announced a collaboration with Microsoft through its Workforce Dimensions Technology Partner Program. This partnership aspires to grant more innovative design that will benefit the entire workforce despite position or hierarchy.
The platform will utilize a Microsoft team-run chatbot that grants employees the ability to address precise workforce management issues, as well as a number of integrations between Microsoft Power BI, Outlook, and Workforce Dimensions to aid in multi-locational and smarter decision-making.
Directly through Outlook, employees will now be able to save more time through the reviewing process of time-off requests and timecard issues via an application of their choice.
Furthermore, this new partnership will create a stronger avenue to facilitate newer capabilities through the usage of the Kronos D5 Platform alongside Workforce Dimensions. The Kronos D5 is the premier platform of its kind that utilizes state-of-the-art functionality like machine learning and artificial intelligence and able to be integrated easily through open APIs.
Senior Director of the Workforce Dimensions Technology Partner Program at Kronos, Michael May, discussed the collaboration:
"As we build the workplace of the future, employees and managers must be empowered to work their way, completing everyday workforce activities from any device, at any time, and through digital social hubs – such as Microsoft Teams – where users already collaborate and communicate all day long."
Additionally Mike Ammerlaan, the Director of Microsoft Office 365 Ecosystem at MicrosoftCorp, elaborated on the hopes behind the collaboration:
"The integration between Workforce Dimensions and Microsoft Teams is a new experience that brings together people, conversations, and content so customers can better collaborate to achieve more every day. We’re pleased to work with Kronos to help improve the flow of communication in the modern workplace."
