Daniel Amoako Antwi and his longtime business partner Emmanuel Leslie Addae declared on May 30th, 2018 a new job search program based in Africa. Named TalentsinAfrica.com, it has something in common with a lot of other new companies in the world today: they all have a wonderful founding story. The accomplishment of their start isn’t just a typical “rags to riches” kind of story, instead TalentsinAfrica.com started with plenty of money and gold.
In March of 2017, two friends created a new program that would make it easier for the companions in the Africa Internship Academy to load their resumes and easily find companies to work for. Only four months after starting their new program the two already had 50,000 potential employees uploading their resumes. During that same month they also fundraises $10,000 in funding from GoodSoil Venture Capital to purchase their first computers and servers to grow and handle their new program.
Then in November of 2017 the co-founders raised another $25,000 round of capital from Twelve Spring Investment Group to help build up their program and make a dashboard for users and companies.
