People Matters has joined forces with Startup India as its "knowledge partner" for their upcoming People Matters TechHR startup program, which is part of its flagship People Matters TechHR conference that will be held in Delhi in August.
The startup's goal is to connect early-stage startup within the HR tech realm, and hopefully link them to investors and buyers while also being given the opportunity to show off their products to big names in the industry.
Due to the merge between the Indian government's Startup India program as the knowledge partner, the program will be able to register and further benefit HR Tech startups through the Startup India Virtual Hub.

Startup India encourages and promotes initiatives that help budding entrepreneurs with adequate capital and provides opportunities of connecting with the right mentors. The People Matters TechHR Startup program aligns with our objective of building a strong eco-system for nurturing innovation and Startups in the country.”
The Startup India Hub was launched in 2017 as a unique online platform for all stakeholders for in India's startup ecosystem to discover, connect, and engage with each other, and is accessible to hosted startups, investors, funds, mentors, academia, incubators, accelerators, corporates, government bodies, and more. The goal of the Hub is to problem-solve the issues of information asymmetry and a lack of access to knowledge, tools, and experts. Currently, Startup India Hub has recognized over 10,000 startups and aided in the funding of more than 120 of them.

This year the program has the blessings of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiative, Startup India, and all startups registered as part of this program will have the opportunity to apply to People Matters TechHR Program.”
For those startups attending the conference, they will not only be given the opportunity to participate and showcase during the three days, but also meet top investors and mentors and attend Masterclasses as well.
