The Carlos Pol led Spanish marketplace had increased its turnover by 40% last year, a percentage that was boosted by the rise in revenue the sector is experiencing. Apart from the announcement platform for office spaces, the group has portals for the rental and sale of commercial premises and industrial warehouses.
The offices are also contracted over the Internet. Misoficinas.es invoiced 40% more in 2017 than the previous year and has already achieved more than half of the 200,000 euros it intends to raise in the next month and a half through a round of financing. The objective of the open line is "to print speed to the development of the company", explains Carlos Pol, CEO of Misoficinas.es to EjePrime. With 7% of the tertiary assets of all of Spain already present in its online platform, the goal of the proptech for 2018 is to double this percentage to 14%.
"With this round we want to invest in IT and increase the capacity to attract customers throughout Spain," says Pol, whose company will incorporate coworking spaces into its real estate portal after this capital increase. "It is clear that it is a type of workspace that has come to stay in the sector," acknowledges the director.
