TRADER Corporation recently announced they have created specialty roles after several national product enhancements to help car dealers and OEM's to succeed as the car marketplace continues to evolve and change.
"In order to service our agency and OEM partners and increase access to our truly unique, engaged autoTRADER.ca car buying audiences, we knew the team needed to grow," says David McMinn, Chief Operating Officer at TRADER. "We are excited to welcome two new leadership team members to support our national advertising team and agency customers."
Korie Weston recently joined TRADER as the National Programmatic Executive. Weston has spent much of her career in programmatic advertising with experience in sales at Rogers Media and leading programmatic efforts at Zenith. She will lead the programmatic space and unlock a trading environment through which agencies and OEMs can access autoTRADER.ca's unique and valuable audience through multiple channels.
"We knew it was crucial to have someone join the company with experience in programmatic advertising, to make the ad buying process much more streamlined and efficient for our national customers," says McMinn. "Korie will play a key role in managing our programmatic ad programs and advertiser success."
TRADER has also added support for branded content and social, with management consultant Stuart Staves. Working with agencies TRADER is able to offer OEMs content marketing and branding opportunities online, backed by the authority and influence of the autoTRADER.ca brand. This will allow in-market consumers to connect into a digital experience that will elevate the consumer buying journey.
TRADER continues to make significant investments in the evolution of its people and product offerings. Recent and future investments will help the company push past boundaries and unlock new opportunities, to ultimately help drive growth for customers.
"Stuart has a proven track record working in business development and branded content revenue for a variety of brands like Nike, Microsoft and Unilever. He will be a great asset in introducing OEMs to more growth opportunities in the digital environment," says McMinn.
