MySkillCamp, a digital learning and workplace training startup platform based out of Belgium, has recently secured €1 million in a funding round that included new and previous investors such as LeanSquare, Seederfund, WapInvest and SIBA.
Founded in 2016 in Tournai, MySkillCamp’s Learning Content Management System (LCMS) solution is used to track, create, manage and administer professional training, in spaces called “Camps”. The platform incorporates tools including courses, quizzes, media, projects, discussions, certificates, and events to facilitate workforce training. Users can also participate in learning “communities”, and receive one-on-one mentoring through the platform. HR departments can monitor employee progress through analytics available on the platform’s dashboard.
Kevin Tillier, co-founder and CEO of MySkillCamp, said: “We wanted to decompartmentalise our teams by offering them a better framework, and facilitate internal collaboration, while anticipating future recruitment needs.”
The startup wants to use the funding to further develop its platform, providing a learning experience that is modern, centralised, participatory, scalable and unified. The all-in-one platform will allow HR departments to create a complete digital training environment for employees by connecting all necessary third-party and proprietary tools.
