Didi Chuxing, the ride-hailing company from China, recently announced they will conduct an upgrade to how their organization is structured. This announced was made via an email sent to the company's employees. This upgrade will combine and change the core business and different departments within Didi.
The special car and express car business groups will be merged to set up a new ride hailing platform. The original orange automobile service and automobile asset management center (AMC) will be merged to upgrade to a new car owner service company.
Security issues are also included in the restructuring. In this adjustment, Wang Xin was appointed as the new chief safety officer of Didi security affairs department.
The letter also mentioned that the group’s security committee will continue to promote the implementation of security rectification work, increase online and offline resources investment, and effectively improve the level of safety management. Emergency response team composed of competent departments will continue to enhance the emergency response capacity. The group will continue to employ senior experts in relevant fields as safety consultants to guide the construction of the company's safety system.
