AutoMotion announced today the new Get a Car app platform has achieved initial consumer success, ranking in the #1 spot for key automotive shopping terms in the Apple App Store. AutoMotion reports consumer reception has been positive with the app receiving an average user rating of 4.7 out of 5 starts.
"There have been years of hard work by the team developing the platform and it's extremely exciting to see initial consumer usage and feedback," said Lindsay Fulton, AutoMotion Director of Operations. "Even though it's early days, this gives the team extra confirmation that shoppers are looking for a different way to obtain their next vehicle."
AutoMotion's solution introduces a new way to help consumers "get a car." Today millions of Americans fear paying too much for their next vehicle, are averse to high pressure environments, and don't have extra hours to spend on the traditional car buying process.
With AutoMotion, consumers receive an entirely different experience from a trusted device, their smartphone. After download, the user is paired with an AutoMotion Personal Shopper. Users simply provide budget and vehicle specifications and the app puts together local options that fit the user's needs. AutoMotion can aid with inspection, negotiation, arranging financing, and delivery. Customers have the option to pick up their vehicle or have it delivered directly to their home.
"It is vitally important we continue to gather, analyze, and react to user input," stated AutoMotion CEO, Ben Anderson. "We want to identify and help solve the car buying pain-points for our users. AutoMotion was founded on that ethos and we continue to work hard toward that mission."
