Hyderabad's Essex India is providing aid to both buyers and sellers in the residential sector with the help of its services. Considered the largest real estate marketplace of its kind, Essex has more than 300 developers in the city and is looking to change the way people buy and sell their property through its platform and customer-based approach.
While for developers the company helps with brand activation, positioning of their projects, strategizing campaigns and lead generation, for buyers the company becomes a one-stop platform right from registration to showcasing the property to getting loan.
Essex India is incubated by Way2Online and has been set up with a funding of Rs 3 crore (approximately US$400,000) about six months ago. It has so far partnered with 40 plus developers and has on-boarded about 1,000 buyers.
“We understand the needs and requirement of buyers as well as sellers and provide the right match between them. We have a team of 50 people out of which 50 percent work in the marketing space and help buyers show the site along with other looking after legal and financial needs,” said Nirbhay Taneja, co-founder and CEO, Essex India.
