Starting immediately, Brightstar New Development Services will merge with Compass Inc., a real estate startup. Together, they will form a modern real estate brokerage firm that will use technology-backed target marketing to sell anything from single-family homes, high-rise condos, and master-planned communities; Brightstar New Development Services at Compass (Brightstar).
Started six years ago in New York, Compass has raised an estimated $800 million in venture capital, merging with best-in-class brokerages in key markets. Brightstar boasts 20 years of experience in this market, providing a full range of sales and marketing services to builders and developers.
Brightstar founder Pauline Miller brings a wealth of expertise to the deal, having closed nearly 20,000 homes in her career. Now, under the Compass Atlanta brand, the company can better serve clients through a more sophisticated user experience via its proprietary app.
"Compass is building the future of real estate with its advanced technology and fresh ideas," said Miller, Brightstar president. "This merger, along with additions to our leadership team, make us more confident than ever in our abilities to provide clients with exceptional service that will help achieve their goals."
Brightstar most recently promoted Allyson Golightly and Sara Joseph to its growing leadership team.
