Workforce Singapore announces upgrades to job portal

Workforce Singapore has recently joined forces with an array of tech service providers, job portals, and partners within the industry to benefit the 500,000 users that have accessed the site's services to date.

Apart from incorporating AI on its online resource, MyCareersFuture.sg, WSG has been on the look-out for suitable technologies to further enhance the portal, including its skills-matching capabilities. For instance, it collaborated with local technology startup JobKred to pilot a skills-to-jobs matching system to help jobseekers identify the most suitable jobs based on their skills.

Further, WSG has also worked with local AI firm, JobTech, to identify more advanced skills-matching technology for individuals and analyse areas of job mismatches and missed matches in key growth sectors (including banking & finance, and infocomm & technology).
