WebBuy, the US's very first completely online car purchasing application, will be heading back to the NADA Show this year and will be looking to team up with additional dealers in hopes of reaching new consumers.
WebBuy’s digital-retailing app allows buyers to choose a new or used vehicle from a dealer’s inventory and complete the purchase on the dealer’s website. Buyers lock in a price, get an instant trade-in offer, receive loan approval, and proceed to an Amazon-like checkout. They can add a co-buyer, choose rebates and then complete the deal – all online.
Members of the WebBuy team, including CEO and co-founder Tom Murray and co-founder Steve Zabawa, will provide demonstrations of their app and discuss its benefits during NADA 2019 in San Francisco, Jan. 24-27.

Zabawa, who has been a dealership owner for more than 30 years, said that he and Murray created the click-to-buy app because “they saw non-franchised dealers leveraging a large demographic of buyers that franchise dealers previously had never engaged before.”
“WebBuy is for car dealerships what PayPal was to eBay,” Zabawa said. The company has signed agreements and is collaborating with multiple OEMs to use the app on websites across the U.S.
“Digital retailing is the new business reality of meeting consumer expectations,” Murray said. “We created WebBuy to provide the industry with an end-to-end, consumer-guided product.”
Murray also stated that WebBuy has been accepted by hundreds of dealerships who are hoping to reach more customers that desire a better digital experience. Dealerships will improve sales since they'll be able to deal with more consumers at one time using WebBuy. WebBuy is currently the only dealership focused product currently on the market and was created by dealers who understand how dealerships want to sell their vehicles.
