Giraffe360 moves its proptech operations to the UK, raises £1m

Giraffe360 is moving its operations from Latvia to London in a bid to up its business in the UK

The proptech firm provides photography and imagery for virtual tours, floor plans, and online or hard copy property details for real estate agents. 

Giraffe360, which has just secured additional £1m investment, already works with Hunters and the UK offices of RE/MAX and John Taylor.

It also works with agencies in seven other European countries.

The latest funding will be used to launch the next generation of Giraffe360 technology; it already produces a camera which generates high resolution images for online use, advertising, print and billboards straight to estate agents.

Mikus Opelts, the Latvian entrepreneur who is chief executive of Giraffe360, says: “London is one of the biggest real estate markets in the world and Brexit or no Brexit, London will remain a well-connected and diverse global city, with a supportive business ecosystem and competitive market.
