The 24th Property Portal Watch Conference was held in November, in Spain’s capital city, where a record 400 attendees from 48 countries convened at the Novotel Center, to address key issues facing their businesses.

Over the course of three days, some of the top names in online property classifieds and marketplaces witnessed 40+ speakers from around the world present on this year's theme of "From Classifieds to Marketplaces."

Among the speakers was Thomas Schumacher, Partner, McKinsey & Company, Leader Media Practice, who also had a one-on-one interview with industry leader and founder of Property Portal Watch, Simon Baker.

Baker addressed Schumacher's presentation -- How to Go Deeper Into the Transaction -- asking Schumacher to elaborate on it, which he did so by highlighting three main steps to the process, adding that it would not be a "piece cake" but well worth a company's effort.
