SmartLinx mobile app launch promotes better scheduling and employee engagement

SmartLinx, a leader in workforce management solutions, recently announced a new mobile app, SmartLinx Go, designed to enable real-time communications between healthcare providers and employees.

SmartLinx understands how today’s workers use mobile devices to connect with the information and people important to them. SmartLinx Go provides employees with a convenient, mobile-friendly way to manage their work life.

Created especially for long-term care, senior living, and assisted living providers, SmartLinx Go gives employees real-time access to self-scheduling capabilities and work information. SmartLinx Go mobile app capabilities: 

  • On the go support: Employees can use their mobile phone to check their schedules and assigned units, so they always know when and where they’re scheduled to work. They can also request time off, review their punch history, and access pay information.
  • Real-time notifications: Employees receive alerts for scheduling changes, available open shifts, and responses to time off requests in their preferred method: text, email, push notifications that scroll across the top of the screen, or notifications within the mobile app.
  • Self-scheduling: Employees can use their SmartLinx Go app to work with schedulers to fill open shifts and manage their schedule.
  • Streamlined employer scheduling: Schedulers no longer need to post paper schedules to each individual unit or department, as SmartLinx Go automatically pushes schedules and updates to all employees simultaneously. When a shift becomes available, schedulers can use SmartLinx to identify qualified employees who could fill the shift without incurring overtime.
