Rocketrip, the leading employee engagement platform for reducing business travel spend, has recently named Jennifer Leahy as the company's Vice President of People, a newly created position for the organization.
"Having already invested significantly in hiring and developing a strong people team, bringing in executive leadership for the function is the right step for the company's evolution," states Rocketrip CEO, Dan Ruch. "As Rocketrip grows, I feel it is vital to focus on strengthening our culture as the foundation for our success."
A 21-year veteran of Human Resources, Leahy will lead the company's hiring and talent development through its current period of rapid growth. In addition, Leahy will continue developing Rocketrip's high-performance culture and employee engagement. Prior to joining Rocketrip, Leahy was the Director of Human Resources for Aventri, a global event management SaaS platform.
"It was clear to me from my very first conversations with Rocketrip that there's a strong focus on people and culture," Leahy said. "I was very impressed. That's the foundation you need in order to grow an organization, and it will be invaluable in making sure we continue to bring in and nurture the right talent. Of course, the product was a big draw for me as well! It is intuitive to understand and the undeniable value-add to organizations make it a must-have solution. What company wouldn't want to incentivize its employees to make wiser spending choices?"
"I recruited Jennifer because she's a leader in the field," said Rocketrip CEO, Dan Ruch. "Our people are our most important asset, and we needed someone at the leadership table focused on nurturing the culture we've worked hard to cultivate and can empower employees to grow alongside the company."
