Established 18 years ago, Infostud Group is one of the largest Internet companies in Serbia. “The classifieds portal began in the education sector,” said Branimir Gajic, CFO, InfoStud, “Next we moved into jobs, then automobiles and recently -- about two years ago -- into property, and much like everyone else, we ventured into insurance,” added Gajic.
4zida.rs is a real estate advertising website connecting buyers and sellers, as well as providing information and tips about purchasing. 4zida.rs has been in existence over seven years, and it is now one of the most recent members part of the InfoStud Group.
“We have long known that our market did not have a good solution for the New Development sector, and because of this we sought to address it,” stated Markovic.
In November of 2018, 4zida.rs entered into a partnership with Homsters.com, a Property Portal Watch Pitch Club alum, operating marketplaces which converts online traffic into transactions for property developers and banks.
According to Markovic, the union was established due in part to Homsters and InfoStud connecting at the 2017 Property Portal Watch Conference in Lisbon.
“We had considered finding a way to resolve the New Development issue on our own, but then we came to the conclusion that taking the white label solution was the best option, this was due in part to the ‘time-to-market’ and ‘know-how’ being offered by Homsters, which is already established in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Hungary and the United Arab Emirates,” said Markovic.
We have since launched a new site and we have 35 new projects for our visitors to peruse. Currently, there are an estimated 150 projects available in our market, so we have lots of work ahead of us. The great weight of product development has been lifted because of Homsters’ role. We will consequently be able to capture the market faster and more efficiently,” Markovic concluded.
