CarGurus, one of the biggest online auto retailers, recently showed off an Italian version of their website for the Verona Automotive Dealer Day. Verona is a technology company that analyzes data using their own algorithms to assist consumers when buying used cars and find the right dealer to shop from.
Presented 12 months ago in Italy, CarGurus was well received by both Italian consumers and retailers. Consumers appreciate the transparent information provided by the site, which helps them make informed and safe purchasing decisions. For retailers, CarGurus offers a freemium model that allows them to publish all their ads for free on the site and easily connect with buyers ready to buy.
The announcement concerns the possibility for dealers in Italy to choose to subscribe to the CarGurus pay packages, which offer more features including access to complete customer information and the inclusion of the dealer's name, of the phone number and location information on the vehicle details page. Retailers also have access to a suite of advanced analysis tools to track return on investment and maximize the effectiveness of their marketing expenses.
