In its 35 years as a leader in brand advocacy, BDSmktg has worked with endless clients to establish a brand presence at retail and engage communities of loyal customers. While consumer expectations of the purchase journey have shifted over the years, BDS has continued to evolve as an agency to meet those new expectations and drive results for their clients. To support BDS’ vision of influencing every brand choice, BDS has launched two new solutions for 2019 that aim to meet new expectations when it comes to training and engaging multi-generational audiences, including BDS’ own employees.
Engage Center Employee Engagement Platform
Just like consumers, employee expectations of employers have also been changing, from the way they consume knowledge for their roles, to the way they engage with the business. The ubiquity of mobile devices and online resources means learning behavior is rapidly shifting away from classrooms and formal e-learning to mobile learning apps, informal social learning, and training that fits seamlessly into daily workflows. These trends are no longer nice-to-haves; they are table stakes for engaging a modern and mobile workforce.
Engage Center is a cutting-edge, AI-powered engagement platform that combines training, development, and BDS’ company culture into a centralized online hub that can be accessed anywhere, anytime, and on any device. Now, BDS clients will have real-time knowledge retention insights, coaching tools, and the autonomy to curate content for their brand representative teams – providing a level of transparency and control brands never had before.
“Training professionals are constantly faced with ever-changing challenges in meeting employees’ learning needs. Partnering with our internal clients to understand the needs and collaborating on the solution was key to the success of our Engage Center launch,” says Scot Maurath, Director of Learning Design for BDS. “It's not a department dictating how employees will learn, it's facilitating how employees want to learn in real life. This mindset fueled our purpose for change.”
Expanded Training Video Production
Seeing a need in the industry for great storytelling and training content, BDS has also expanded its capabilities to include full-service video production through a partnership with MINIM, an Orange County based video company. Through this partnership, BDS is able to enhance their core solutions with commercial-grade training videos that support BDS’ own training programs plus their clients’ training initiatives. Services include creative ideation, script-writing, pre and post production, and 2D and 3D animation, all with state-of-the-art technology and equipment for on-location video shoots and at studios in Orange County, Los Angeles, and New York City (coming soon).
“MINIM is proud to be partnering with BDS in streamlining creative video to support training solutions. After collaborating on several projects, it was only natural that a partnership should be established to best service their clients with commercial-grade training,” says Rich Miro, CEO of MINIM.
