Insight, a provider of intelligent technology solutions and related services, announces the launch of Career Structure, a platform to foster internal mobility, providing insight into the skills to be acquired for each position, and to evolve with the help of managers. The supplier is also looking for profiles of sedentary salespeople and commercial salespeople to support its vision and development.

Objective: the best advice and the best customer support

The platform "Career Structure", officially launched on January 1, 2019, already fulfills its ambition to promote personal development and internal mobility. Its principle is to enlighten the skills needed for each position, and allow employees to evolve and progress with the help of their manager.

Tool set up at the request of employees who wanted to benefit from career plans, "Career Structure" consists of updating and enriching job descriptions by role, to make them accessible to employees on an internal platform. Highly detailed job description, required skills, conditions of success to fulfill the role: this formalization allows employees to work on their progress, their desire to evolve and their career visibility in full transparency, with the help of their manager. "Career Structure" is deployed within Insight, division by division, and will be fully operational for the entire company as of September 1st.

"Even when you do not want to change jobs, you can always be better in your role and learn new things," says Candice Jarre, Director of Insight's EMEA HR Operations. "The goal is to improve your personal skills both in terms of role and portfolio products, Insight technologies and strategies, and broader topics such as leadership and communication to optimize the quality of our interactions with our customers."

A performance management and recruitment tool

Career Structure can support the management of daily performance during "Connections", key moments of exchange every quarter between the employee and their manager. Career Structure allows you to see the different options internally by department and by role.

It is also an excellent recruitment support, in line with Insight's strategy, especially with millennials attracted by a better visibility of their future evolution on the background of agility and flexibility.

Salespeople with technical profiles: Insight recruits

To support its strategy and development, Insight is currently looking for profiles such as land-based or sedentary salespeople, cloud architects, but also sales specialists, profiles focused on new technologies, mastering the niche markets and cloud solutions. artificial intelligence (architects, security experts, Microsoft Azure cloud experts, Cloud Chanel Solutions experts and license optimization, etc.). Thirteen positions are currently available in France.

Recruitment represents a real strategic investment for Insight, which has welcomed 280 new employees since January 2019 via its twelve recruiters in the EMEA region (France, Germany, Benelux, Italy, Spain, Great Britain).

"Our recruitment strategy is in line with our vision and positioning of Trusted Advisor," Jarre explains. "We are committed to providing our clients with quality advice and loyalty through innovative technology solutions. To this end, Insight needs to develop its employees to support their skills development on new technologies. Beyond the internal training, recruitment is a key focus of our business strategy."
