Cazoo, the upcoming used vehicle retail platform, has hired Darren Bentley, the former Chief Customer Manager (CCO) for MoneySuperMarket Group, to be the company's new CCO.
Cazoo has already been able to fund raise over £30 million as the company continues to build a team of industry veterans and prepare to launch the platform sometime this year.
The company hopes to make the used car buying process similar to how consumers purchase every other product. Consumers will be able to search through thousands of vehicles, purchase them online, and have the cars delivers within a few days.
Darren Bentley is joining Cazoo from MoneySuperMarket Group where he served the company in several top marketing positions and most recently as their Chief Customer Officer as the head of online marketing, PR, customer service, CRM, and branding.
Bentley will provide Cazoo with 15 years of experience in customer support and marketing positions.
As Cazoo's Chief Customer Officer, he will serve directly under Alex Chesterman, Cazoo's Founder and CEO, and oversee the company's online and brand marketing, consumer experience, and PR.
Cazoo now features over 50 employees since it was founded at the beginning of this year.
