The role will see Christopher join Domain’s Ad-Tech team, leading its commercial development and programmatic offering in the market, building out Domain’s media business and growing its programmatic sales and account management teams.
As former Country Manager at SpotX, Christopher joins with over 15 years of experience across the media and digital industry. He has held key roles in agency, publisher and ad tech organisations, leading teams for brands including Optus, Brandscreen and NewsCorp.
Christopher will report to Domain’s Director, Programmatic and Ad-Tech, Shannon Fitzpatrick, and will lead Domain’s programmatic team.
Christopher Blok, Programmatic Sales Director at Domain, commented:
“I’ve always been passionate about property, and am thrilled to be joining a company with such strong heritage and a significant digital footprint. With Domain’s recent transition to a programmatic model, there is a huge opportunity for the business and our partners to connect with a highly engaged audience. I look forward to leading the team as we grow the programmatic offering out in the market.”
Shannon Fitzpatrick, Director, Programmatic and Ad-Tech at Domain, commented:
“Christopher’s appointment has come at a critical time, following the transformation of Domain’s media business, and as we continue to evolve our programmatic strategy and streamline our digital media sales offerings. Our ambition has also been to build on Domain’s media advertising capabilities, and Christopher’s deep understanding of the industry made the decision to bring him on board a natural one. This is certainly an exciting time for the property industry — and for Domain as a business — and we’re thrilled to have Christopher join the team.”
Christopher is also actively involved in ad tech and mobile marketing meetups, where he brings communities together to discuss the growth and evolution of the industry. He is an avid cyclist, and a regular blood donor at Red Cross.
