Glassdoor, major U.S. job portal and recruitment platform, has recently announced intentions to plant roots in Hamburg - making their new branch their first in Germany, and fourth in Europe alongside Dublin, London, and Paris.

Glassdoor offers jobseekers an overview of vacancies, employees’ reviews of present and previous employers and salary comparisons.

Branches in London and Dublin

Four employees have already moved into Glassdoor’s new office in the “WeWork” co-working centre above the Europapassage in Hamburg.

Felix Altmann, the spokesperson for Glassdoor, said: “We’re dropping our anchor here and continue to work closely with colleagues at other locations.”

The marketing division for the German market is presently based in Dublin and has been served from there and its branch in London until now because www.glassdoor.de went online in 2015. “Our branch in Hamburg will put us into even closer contact with our German customers. We are represented here by a team that has insider knowledge of the outstanding cultural traits of the market.”
