Beepbeep mobilidade, a mobility company based out of Brazil, recently launched their online car-sharing platform within Sao Paulo. The launch will include ten electric Renault Zoes that consumers can use and pay per minute of use.
The fee for the service involves a $1.31 vehicle unlocking charge plus $0.15 per minute.
The per-minute charge from six to 12 hours drops to $0.10 and the per-minute charge after 12 hours is $0.07.
The Beepbeep car network should increase to 20 cars within the first month, 100 cars within the first year, and 300 cars within the first two years.
A total of $750,000 was invested to launch the service, according to local media reports.
The Zoe, which can be rented out via a mobile app at several strategic points throughout the city, puts out 110hp and has a range of 300km.
