Thomas has spent decades building his experience and network in the area of HR technology, and formed Otter Advisory late last year. He will support Unit4 to make the decisions that lay strong foundations for future success. As a former Gartner analyst and SAP SuccessFactors executive, Thomas has advised many organizations to make better HR technology decisions, enabling them to drive both employee and corporate motivation and success.
Unit4 is focused on giving individuals the enterprise tools to curate, control and add value to their professional experiences across the spectrum of business operations. Its strategy is to make ERP the prime enabler of “employee experience” and not just a transactional process automation tool. It has always focused on building ERP for people in the services industries, and recently acquired one of Europe’s leading talent enablement and engagement solutions, Intuo. Intuo offers an alternative for performance management, knowledge sharing and annual engagement surveys, digitizing and optimizing every touchpoint between employee and employer.
“We’re already delivering a powerful holistic people experience through our solutions, but we want to do more. HCM and talent management are vital components for enhancing employee experience and attracting and retaining the best talent,” said Matthias Thurner, Chief Product Officer at Unit4. “Working closely with myself, the leadership team, and our product managers, Thomas plays an integral role as we develop and expand our HCM solution and service capabilities.”
“The promise and opportunity for HCM software to change how work is done is very real,” said Thomas. “Unit4 is already making great progress on its people experience journey, and I look forward to helping the company further strengthen its HCM solutions.”
