Vice President of Offsite Solutions, Derek Hansen, said that the new features will help car dealers better manage offers through the app, and it would help dealers quickly make buying choices.
“And we continue to up the ante on how we help them achieve that,” Hansen said in a news release. The Manheim Express app launched its buyer experience in January of this year. “Managing offers in the app will give dealers increased flexibility to conduct business wherever is easiest for them, and personalized vehicle recommendations use the latest AI technology to highlight vehicles that fit their inventory mix.”
The company has invested around $100 million into its online platform just during this year. Part of that investment focused on improving the Manheim Express app.
Manheim hopes that by increasing the development on their platform and app they will be able to help dealers become more efficient, move inventory quicker, and increase profits.
The company believes that dealers need a place where they can keep up with the constant changes within online retail. Manheim hopes that improvements to their app will help dealers do just that.
Manheim is using machine learning to help analyze data which gives dealer's feedback which updates based on the dealer's location and other vehicle preferences.
These technologies will help dealers discover inventory faster using the Manheim Express app, and the company added similar data focused technology to their Manheim Market Report auto valuation tool.
The company stated that these updates will be available this month. Their Manheim Express has around 60,000 users from around 19,000 dealerships.
