One of the region’s leading awards series builds on its partnership with a leading real estate website in Myanmar

The PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards is extending its partnership with one of Myanmar’s leading property website, iMyanmarHouse.com, solidifying its foothold in one of Southeast Asia’s most prominent frontier markets.

One of the region’s biggest and most prestigious real estate awards series has designated iMyanmarHouse.com as the Official Portal Partner of the 2019 PropertyGuru Myanmar Property Awards. The fifth edition of the awards will be held on 18 October at The Sule Shangri-La Hotel in Yangon, the event’s official hotel.

With a monthly reach of more than 400,000 property buyers, investors and renters, iMyanmarHouse.com extends the reach for the exemplary, commendable developers and projects in the Asia Property Awards, which best embody the appeal of the region’s key real estate markets.

PropertyGuru’s partnership with iMyanmarHouse.com allows the award-giving body to add more value and visibility to those developers and projects judged to be worthy of international accolades.

As part of the partnership with iMyanmarHouse.com, winners of the PropertyGuru Myanmar Property Awards will be showcased in a special online section—providing an invaluable reference for property seekers and investors alike.

Select award-winning projects will be offered complimentary advertising packages on iMyanmarHouse.com, the largest and most comprehensive online database of active properties for sale and rent in Myanmar.

“We are delighted to take our partnership with iMyanmarHouse.com to the next level this year. As our official portal partner, iMyanmarHouse.com gives us a deeper understanding of the local market, allowing us to showcase the country’s most deserving developments and companies in the domestic and international stage,” said Jules Kay, Director of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards.

PropertyGuru and iMyanmarHouse.com’s mutual support also extends to iMyanmarHouse’s 8th Myanmar’s Biggest Property Expo, scheduled for 2 and 3 November 2019 in Singapore. Harnessing PropertyGuru’s cachet as Asia’s most trusted online property platform, the expo will offer an invaluable opportunity for Singapore-based Myanmar buyers as well as Singaporeans to invest in critically acclaimed, trustworthy projects in Myanmar.

“We are excited for this mutually beneficial partnership with PropertyGuru. As the market develops further in Myanmar, there have been more and more quality property development projects. It will be a boost and a strong visibility for them to be recognized by the region’s most prestigious property awards. With this partnership, we are extremely delighted to be adding exceptional value to our customers,” said Nay Min Thu.

iMyanmarHouse.com joins an esteemed roster of supporters at the awards this year, including platinum sponsor Kohler; gold sponsor Hitachi Elevators & Escalators; official newspaper The Straits Times (Myanmar Edition); official magazine PropertyGuru Property Report; media partner Myanmar Insider; supporting associations British Chamber of Commerce Myanmar, and European Chamber of Commerce Myanmar; and official supervisor BDO.

Main category winners in Myanmar will then move on to represent the country at the regional PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final to showcase the achievements and latest properties for investment in the country to serial, high-net worth and cross-border investors. The Grand Final takes place in Bangkok, Thailand in November with participation from more than a dozen property markets from Asia-Pacific.
