Qwick app helps match employers with hospitality workers

The Valley's hotels and restaurants are hitting busy season, and there's a new kid on the block when it comes to progressive hiring and recruitment.

Qwick is an app that's meant to make the hiring process easier and faster. Co-founded by a restaurateur, an app developer and a former Uber employee, it's basically like a rideshare or dating app for finding a job.

The general idea is if you have experience in the hospitality industry, rather than searching several job sites, you sign up on the app, choose the jobs you're trained to do and shifts you're available, and you get an alert when there's a match.

The Qwick company vets everyone first with an interview process and then adds them to the database.
