With their online stock of trade vehicles, the platform expects to sell around 68,000 cars and cans to franchised dealerships, independent dealers, and auto supermarkets.
Epyx's Head of Remarketing, Vicky Gardner, stated that the platform's growth is a direct result of their access to more quality vehicles through the platform.
"It’s all about momentum. We are continuing to see more major fleet and manufacturer vendors sign up to use the platform, as well as an increasing number of traders. Greater numbers of quality vendors mean that greater numbers of quality traders are attracted to source stock from the platform. It’s very much a virtuous circle."
She went on to add that just around two years ago the platform had reached the 2,000 trader milestone and Epyx is seeing their 1link platform used more often every single month.
"Our growth is based on offering exceptional, ready-to-retail, ex-fleet stock at a significantly lower cost of acquisition than most other sources, especially traditional auctions."
"The new traders we have seen registering to use the platform are coming from right across the board – franchise, independents and car supermarkets."
"In a used car market where the accent is very much on providing traders with cars and vans that can be put straight on to their forecourt or online sales channel, we are scoring very highly."
Gardner also said that the company is also seeing progress thanks to their own investments into the 1link Disposal Network platform to make sure it would be a top tier choice within the market.
"The platform is not only one of the longest-established and best-known trade sites, but it has also been continually developed to meet the needs of traders today."
