The UK’s leading independent job board, CV-Library, has won ‘Best Generalist Job Board’ at the recent National Online Recruitment Awards (NORAs).

The awards ceremony, which was held at an exclusive West End venue in London, recognises and celebrates the very best organisations in the online recruitment industry.

This award win shines a light on CV-Library's hard work and continued excellence in the industry, with 95% of clients rating its service as ‘good’ or ‘excellent’ and a further 75% stating that the service the job board provides is ‘better’ than its main competitors.

Alongside this, CV-Library is dedicated to making the hiring process as seamless as possible for users, with 2019 seeing the job board introduce a number of exciting new features, including Quick Apply and a CV Search Builder.

Lee Biggins, Founder and CEO of CV-Library comments:

“This is the third time we’ve won this award over a four-year period which is extremely humbling. We always strive to put our users first and customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. It’s an honour to have our efforts recognised on a wider scale, especially at such an esteemed event in the industry. We’re always looking for new, innovative ways to help our clients source the best talent for their roles, while also helping the 14 million+ candidates in our database to find their dream job. I’m genuinely excited about the new features we introduced this year and what we have in the pipeline and look forward to continued success in 2020.”

CV-Library emerged victorious in the ‘Best Generalist Job Board’ category despite being pitted against stiff competition. Other finalists included Indeed, LinkedIn, TotalJobs and Reed to name a few.

Biggins continues:

“To win this award when we were up against all of our main competitors just goes to show that we really are taking huge strides to ensuring we’re the most effective job board out there. With external sources such as Trustpilot and WaveTrackR confirming that we offer the best results in the industry, it’s definitely an exciting time for our company.”
