NaviRetail has created NaviSites, a tool that is powered by the SiteSeer Professional platform. NaviSites is now available to communities seeking to improve their retail recruitment efforts by combining the expertise of NaviRetail and the power of SiteSeer. This partnership will arm communities seeking to add retail and restaurants with the market intelligence needed to analyze opportunities and recruit retail businesses.
Casey Kidd, CEO of NaviRetail, says that the company is excited to build upon what the firm currently provides its clients. "SiteSeer is a tool that already offers so much to those in the economic development space—the very clients we work with," he says. "Our NaviSites product will provide cities and counties even more, including the demographics, Void Analysis, retail matches, and other reports that they need to effectively recruit retailers."
The data-agnostic nature of SiteSeer, Kidd adds, made SiteSeer the platform of choice for a partnership. "We love that SiteSeer can work with any data source," he says. "We strive to offer our client communities the most accurate facts and figures, but accuracy changes over time. The ability to pick and choose which datasets we deploy makes this a very powerful and effective tool. We're excited to offer NaviSites to our client communities to help them work more efficiently with retailers that are eyeing communities for their next location."
Sam Lowder, VP of business development at SiteSeer, says the firm is looking forward to putting SiteSeer into the hands of more users:
"Since our inception, SiteSeer has worked with communities that are trying to show retailers and other chain businesses—through hard data and not just marketing and ad campaigns—what their towns and cities have to offer. NaviRetail has excellent experience helping communities and city and state governments produce analytics that improve their retail recruiting strategies, and we are pleased to join together to make that service even better with our platform. It's a win for NaviRetail and SiteSeer, and most importantly, it's a win for the customers of NaviSites and NaviRetail."
