The two companies will integrate and believe this will help auto dealer service departments offers more efficient and improved services to increase consumer satisfaction.
MyKaarma's software will be added onto the Uber Central API and allows dealers to reserve Uber rides through myKaarma's mobile app which will include specified pick-up and drop off locations for consumers. Customers will then get text messages with a link for their ride.
Dealerships can utilize this partnership and improve communication between transportation managers, drivers, and consumers as well as use myKaarma's pick-up and delivery services.
Consumers can also be given real-time estimated arrival times to stay connected with dealerships and services.
MyKaarma's platform can be run on mobile phones, desktop computers, or tablets and offers both end-to-end consumer communication and digital payments.
According to the company the platform was designed around communication so users can quickly make contact through email, text, or phone.
Dealership service departments can use myKaarma's software to increase dollars per auto repair by 37% while reducing voicemails by 50%, authorization disputes by 100%, and a 33% number of loaner car days.
These departments also get real-time records of all consumer communication and a better management view of their overall operations.
“At myKaarma, it is our mission to optimize as much of the dealer's process as possible and give back time to service managers, service advisors, and other dealer personnel,” myKaarma Chief Executive Officer Ujj Nath said in a news release.
Nath added, “Our integration with Uber for Business provides dealers with one place to book and track Uber trips for their guests without having to retype their pickup or drop off address. This will have an immediate impact on reducing loaner car days and delayed wait times for transportation and increasing long term customer loyalty."
Uber For Business' Neal Watterson, its Global Head of Guest Products, stated that coordination for shuttles and loaner cars for consumers often takes too long, is confusing, and costs too much for dealers.
“The ability to make the entire process seamless is an important step forward for the industry at large — and can make a big difference in increasing customer satisfaction, Watterson said.
Watterson added, “We’re excited to partner with companies like myKaarma to make access to customer transportation simple and efficient for the automotive sector.”
