Over five hundred people filled the Novotel Yangon Max Ballroom to find out which companies would be crowned Myanmar Employers of Choice at the 2019 Myanmar Employer Awards. Among the VIP guests are multiple Government Ministers, DICA officials, esteemed judges from across the country and around the globe, CEOs, Managing Directors, HR Directors, and employees from nominees. This once a year gathering again proved to be the most prominent event in the Human Resources industry to network and recognize the fantastic achievements in this area.

The third annual Myanmar Employer Awards were once again powered by JobNet.com.mm - the #1 online recruitment and talent management solution in Myanmar. The MEA program is open for both local and international companies of different sizes operating in Myanmar, and the Myanmar Employer Awards Gala Night is the celebration of the highest levels of achievement by companies from all sectors to recognize and encourage HR best practices in Myanmar. Awards were allocated based on the independent judging carried out by eighteen local and international judges, led by the guidance of Head Judge Prof. Dr. Aung Tun Thet and audited by verifying partner Deloitte Myanmar.

H.E Moe Moe Su Kyi Minister of Immigration and Human Resources, H.E. Zaw Aye Maung Minister of Rakhine National Affairs (Formerly in charge of Labour, Immigration and Population Ministry), and Daw Tin Aye Han Deputy Director General of DICA were guests of honor at the Myanmar Employer Awards, reinforcing the commitment for continuous development for best corporate practices from the highest levels of institution and government in Myanmar. Watching the growth and positive impact across the entire economic landscape and the promotion of best business practices is a core value of the Myanmar Employer Awards, and tonight’s event achieved that end.

Matt De Luca, Managing Director of JobNet.com.mm, was equally pleased with the Myanmar Employer Awards platform.

“When this event started three years ago, we could only dream that it would become the standard bearer that it has become today. With hundreds of applications coming in, it truly is the industry benchmark for measuring HR best practices. We were so happy to see all of the winners accept their awards, and how well it will help their organizations in the future.”
