With the enhanced feature, users have a quick and complete view of each team member’s workload and available capacity, as well as the ability to reassign tasks and balance them across the team, enabling team members to be more flexible in responding to situations that arise or shifting priorities.
The enhanced Workload feature was designed with a more intuitive user interface with two brand new sub-features: Overview and Planner. With Overview, users can see how much work is assigned to the team and its overall capacity over a period of time. The Planner feature gets even more granular by showing how that work actually breaks down each day, offering a calendar-style view of the team’s work and shows how that work is distributed in blocks of time.

According to a study, 21.5% of workers in the U.S. cite a lack of visibility into coworkers’ capabilities as a major roadblock to productivity. With the improved Workload feature, employees and managers using Teamwork Projects can significantly cut down the amount of ineffective communication and misunderstood work capacities, and instead work toward improved project success.
Teamwork Projects is one of the five main products offered within Teamwork’s suite – including Teamwork Desk (a central place to manage customer communications with transparency and accountability), Teamwork Spaces (a document management software), Teamwork Chat and Teamwork CRM. Teamwork CRM just recently added additional features as well, including improved integration with Teamwork Projects, an easier way to export data to CSV files, and improved API documentation. The company also recently announced a brand new office in Belfast, Northern Ireland earlier this month.
