Madrid's Agency for Employment (AE), an autonomous body under the Department of Economics, Innovation and Employment, and the non-profit foundation of the University of Cambridge, Cambridge Assessment English, have established a new partnership whereby AE becomes an official training center authorized to teach English courses aimed at obtaining the institution's certificates.

Through this alliance, the participants of English courses offered by the AE will be able to have access to the recognition of the official qualifications of Initial English and English Level A1, A2, B1 and B2 in the examination centers of Cambridge English, including the Preliminary B1 and B2 First.

In addition, the AE has incorporated an online classification test quickly assigning students to the appropriate group at their level into its Cambridge English Placement Test training plan so that students may focus on the most appropriate certificate based on their knowledge.

To reinforce its commitment to unemployed people in Madrid and provide them with the necessary tools to reintegrate into the labor market, the AE has also scheduled several training activities in different levels of English in the coming months, as knowledge of one or more languages It has become a requirement highly valued by companies, as well as a great opportunity to access certain jobs.

Cambridge Assessment English degrees represent a gateway to the world of work by being recognized by more than 25,000 institutions - large companies, universities, official agencies and immigration services - worldwide. In Spain alone, more than 600 companies use them in their personnel selection processes.
