There's another agency in London looking to follow the lead of companies like Harding Green, Orchards and Keller Williams.

Mariel Roe and Michael Whittaker, who have a combined 40 years of experience in the industry, have set up Properly, which they describe as “a new kind of agency” operating from a serviced office in Victoria.

Properly has explained that it is operating across the capital and is currently seeking to recruit self-employed agents.

“Now is the time for change. It’s a challenging exciting market out there. And if you are selling someone’s home or dealing with their investment you should be doing it to the highest standards. You should be doing it properly” says Roe.

The pair, who worked in both corporates and independents in the capital including JLL, Felicity J Lord and Sequence before setting up the new firm, say they were “frustrated at the old way of doing things” while seeing that newer online models fell short on customer service.
