Glassdoor, one of the world's largest job and recruitment websites, has added several new features to its website and mobile app to help job seekers better manage their job search in a one-stop-shop experience.

Going forward, the majority of users will be able to use:

Company Compare: This offers job seekers an easy and quick way to compare two potential employers on a wide range of criteria, including employee opinions on their overall satisfaction with the company, career opportunities, compensation and benefits, work/life balance, management, culture and values, and whether or not employees approve of the way the CEO runs the business. This feature also allows job seekers to compare, side by side, salaries, pros and cons, featured reviews and job postings.

Collections: This feature is a one-stop shop allowing job seekers to better organize their job search on mobile. Collections by Glassdoor allows candidates to explore job listings, company reviews, and other content relevant to their job search, organize and save them for future reference. Job seekers can also add and save their job ratings, reviews and other content to their custom collections, organizing the entire experience in the Glassdoor Jobs Mobile app. In addition, Collections provides personalized recommendations for jobs, salaries, interview questions and assessments, with the goal of proactively helping job seekers find the jobs they love.

“Searching for a new job is already typically stressful. It can also be a scattered and disjointed experience, with people bouncing between multiple tools and resources to manage and track the many different stages of the job search process. Glassdoor is focused on empowering job seekers with the content and tools to help them find the job or company that’s right for them. With Collections, we are offering a first-of-its-kind tool that allows people to more easily organize their entire job search from start to finish.”

Evolution of Glassdoor products for employers: recruiting the candidates of tomorrow

Glassdoor has also upgraded its products for employers, helping them target and recruit quality talent on a larger scale. These improvements include:

  • The launch of Segmented Profiles: These profiles provide more details and context to employers who are part of a large, often complex organization.
  • The evolution of the Employer Center: One-stop-shop serving all employers' needs, the Employer Center has been improved to facilitate the navigation experience between the publication of job offers, responses to notices, monitoring of brand reputation, and more.
