Zhaopin: Shanghai's latest job platform hopes to combat COVID consequences

The Shanghai Youth League alongside China International Intellectech have recently joined forces to launch a new digital platform to aid jobseekers in finding work in Shanghai.

From resume submission, written tests, interviews to contract signing, all job application procedures can be done at Zhaopin, an experiment devised to tackle job-seeking woes during the coronavirus epidemic.

Shanghai Youth League said that 780 state-owned companies are expected to offer over 8,000 jobs on the platform, and so far 99 companies have rolled out recruitment ads.

The platform will later include jobs posted by private and international companies.

Companies can also hold online recruitment talks on the platform.

The Shanghai Youth League said it has publicized the platform to all universities and colleges with Youth League branches.
