Across all markets, real estate is seeing ups and downs because of the coronavirus pandemic. Experts everywhere have their own predictions for the current and future picture of the real estate market. This time, Simon Baker speaks with Brian Boero is the CEO of 1000Watt Consulting.

In this exclusive vodcast, Boero explains how the pandemic has impacted the US market and how agents and brokers are answering the issues surrounding dwindling numbers.

  • Here are some highlights of the vodcast:
  • Home viewings through Redfin are only down 25%
  • Pending sales year-over-year on Redfin are down just 50%
  • Things those in the US real estate market are doing to save money and keep businesses intact

Boero shares his views on the popular iBuyer business model. iBuying was booming six months ago but that model is now being tested- the future of that style of real estate transaction is uncertain. But Boero says that Zillow, the most popular of the iBuyers, has nothing to worry about.

Zillow is expected to come out the other end of the pandemic the strongest out of its competitors thanks to its strong brand and having already incorporated innovation that other portals are just now initiating.
