The 3D spatial capturing company Matterport has announced a collaboration with Indian real estate data provider Propstack. The APAC region has been identified by the California-based company as an arena it can break into and the partnership will certainly give it a great chance of succeeding locally in India.
Propstack will be marketing Matterport 3D technology to developers and agents and hoping that the demand for visualization technology takes off on the sub-continent as it has in the USA. Certainly, both companies seem optimistic about the prospect of demand in the region with Propstack Founder, Raja Seetharaman saying:
“The current situation globally has shown the importance and impact of 3D capture technology. We have a unique opportunity to integrate spatial data with real-time transactions data globally for the first time”
With increasing global brand awareness and a market-leading position in the USA, it does seem like a smart move for Matterport to partner with a local company to break into a market with nascent demand for its tech and one with huge room for growth.
