Immowelt has just updated its iOS app with a new feature. The new feature shows users the latest offers pertaining to the user’s last search.

Made specifically for those looking for the perfect apartment, the feature shows up on the iPhone home screen, advertising the latest listings based on their last search through the Immowelt app. Additionally, there are push notifications that alert the user of the latest property listings according to specified search criteria in case a user prefers notifications over a home screen widget. Email notifications are an option, as well.

Immowelt focused on speed when developing this feature. Prof. Dr. Cai-Nicolas Ziegler, the CEO of Immowelt,  explained:

“Seekers have to be quick, especially in the tense housing markets. Because providers receive hundreds of inquiries within a very short time. A few minutes can already decide whether or not you will be awarded the dream property. With our Immowelt app, we give searchers the ideal tool to be faster than the competition."

This feature is just another drop in the global proptech bucket, where companies are headed faster and faster away from the traditional real estate model.
