Malaysian property portal iproperty.com.my has partnered with project management firm iHome Management & Services Sdn Bhd to provide information on the “Malaysia My Second Home” (MM2H) program.
The MM2H program is an initiative of the Malaysian Government encouraging citizens of countries with which Malaysia has diplomatic relations to spend extended periods of time in Malaysia. It is essentially a long-stay visa programme for foreigners in which successful applicants are issued multiple-entry social visit passes for 10 years with an option for renewal.
iproperty.com.my’s “MM2H Corner” provides information on Malaysia, MM2H visas, the application process and frequently asked questions. It also links to a list of agents involved in the MM2H program, however there are currently only two agents included in this list.
In a statement from the company, iProperty.com group executive chairman Patrick Grove explained iproperty.com.my's new website section:
“It will serve as a link between potential participants and the agents who will educate them about the programme as well as assist them in the application process. This is also an initiative for the iProperty.com Group to help promote Malaysian properties to the world.”
iproperty.com.my is a division of the iproperty.com network, which operates property portals in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the Philippines. iproperty.com.my claims to receive over 400,000 visitors each month, and was recently declared Malaysia’s top property portal by Google Ad Planner.
iproperty.com.my's promotion of the MM2H program mirrors a recent partnership between the MM2H program and propertrack.com, another Malaysian property portal. Since linking with the MM2H program, propertrack.com has also created propertrack.co.uk, which promotes Malaysian property investment to the UK market.
