UK pay-per-lead portal propertyindex.com is reporting record figures for April stating it saw 315,000 unique visitors – a 22 percent increase from the previous month.
A statement from the company cites deals with 1,000 UK based estate agents and more than 250 overseas agents, along with 15 new distribution partners, as reasons for the increase.
propertyindex.com chief executive Lee Bramzell said the website’s growth and increased figures are “sure signs that agents have confidence in a property market revival,” going on to state that “In the current climate, our ‘pay for results’ model is the most cost-effective marketing method for agents, removing the need to pay out a huge monthly fee for no gain”.
UK property portal homes24.co.uk is one website said to be considering a change to the pay-per-lead model. Other UK portals already offering this model include zoopla.co.uk, which switched to pay-per-lead in February 2009.
UK market leader rightmove.co.uk, a subscription based website, also reported an increase in traffic during April, along with maintained dominance over other UK property websites in terms of market share.
