Leading Turkish property portal hurriyetemlak.com has been ranked first in its category in the Digital Lovemark’09 online survey.
hurriyetemlak.com is run by Turkish media conglomerate Dogan Yayin Holding (DYH), which also owns news website hurriyet.com. hurriyet.com quotes hurriyetemlak.com’s manager, Erol Demirtas, as saying:
“We believe that our result is an indication of the joint success of user-focused services and the care we show to our corporate and individual members, as well as marketing communication activities. We are pleased to see how the communication campaigns we conduct to develop our relationship with users affect brand sympathy. Being rewarded for the activities we are developing for user demand and expectations re-affirms our belief that we are on the right track.”
The Digital Lovemark’09 survey was conducted by marketing research firm Ipsos-KMG for Digital Age magazine and investigated the most loved digital brands.
DYH says it employs more than 13,000 people and has revenues over US$2 billion, however its most recent financial results have overall revenues down by 19 percent compared to the third quarter of 2008.
hurriyet.com's report says hurriyetemlak.com sees approximately 1.5 million unique visitors per month and has over 7,300 corporate and 280,000 individual members.
