Since launching their mobile phone application early this year, Italian property portal casaclick.it has been relatively quiet. As it turns out, the portal has been undergoing a complete redesign, which it says has driven up traffic by 15 percent.
casaclick.it says time spent on the updated website has increased by 20 percent and the number of leads generated has almost doubled.
“It took several months to study and develop the site and we have a long list of new features to be launched,” says casaclick.it’s Francesco Iandola. “We are delighted about the results the new site is bringing.”
casaclick.it explains the new design was developed in collaboration with Italian online real estate network immobiliare.it Group “to ensure a common approach to a vast number of agencies”. Iandola explained the decision to team up with immobiliare.it Group, which is one of Italy’s market leaders, was part of a strategy to better capture Italy’s growing online audience:
“The Italian market is evolving rapidly. More and more agencies are discovering the full potential of the Internet and sharing best practices among different players in the market is key for the success.”
immobiliare.it Group runs four real estate portals in Italy: The flagship immobiliare.it, web 2.0 focussed eurekasa.it, dedicated new build portal nuovecostruzioni.it and rentals site affitti.it.
immobiliare.it and eurekasa.it jostle with the REA Group/SkyItalia owned casa.it for top position amongst Italy’s property portals. For a closer look at the Italian market, check out Simon Baker’s article here.
