trulia.com and ziprealty.com have just released new mobile offerings for their customers.
A trulia.com blog post explains that the US property search engine has updated its iPhone application to allow users to see big colour photos for all listings. Price reductions and popular homes have also been highlighted. This video shows the iPhone application in action:
trulia.com says almost 300,000 people have downloaded their iPhone application, but it hasn’t forgotten those without an iPhone. The new trulia.com mobile website has also been released for mobiles with web browsers.
“We’ve seen mobile usage continue to increase as more people transition from traditional mobile phones to smart phones and we’re looking forward to more great mobile announcements in the future,” trulia.com states.
trulia.com moved up to sixth position on the latest Hitwise list of popular US real estate websites.
Meanwhile, US brokerage firm ziprealty.com has just released its iPhone application:
ziprealty.com says the application will provide third-party home value estimates from sources such as zillow.com and cyberhomes.com along with access to home listings and photos in over 4,800 locations.
ziprealty.com held onto its place at number four on the Hitwise list this November.
